The fall of the Berlin wall on November 9th 1989 ...
... has impressively shown what level of change a great community can drive. Only the will and tenacity of the demonstrating masses have made the reunification possible. 20 years later, we would like to showcase the faces of the people and create the largest photo mosaic in the world. Everyone can help and immortalize themselves with one or several images, in order to communicate their impression of the fall of the wall, the celebrations marking the 20th jubilee or other impressions on the subject of all people.

The BerlinMOSAIK is a virtual art activity of Sascha Ackermann and Lars Beckmann who invite everybody who uses the Tag “20jmf” to join in. People, who upload their pictures with the Tag via the described ways or give us permission to publicize their picture in the Mosaic and use it for marketing- or PR purposes of the Mosaic.
Unfortunately, a selection or control can not be guruanteed, so we’d like to point out that the images represent the personal impressions of the participating users. Therefore, this does not represent the personal opinions or attitudes of the operators. We assume no responsibility and liability for any externally provided content.
We will try to filter out and banish all pictures from the side as soon as possible which are discriminatory, xenophobic, offensive, sexist or with illegal content. Because of the reasons cited above, people have no implied guarantee to participate in the Mosaic.
